Volunteer Recruitment Campaigns
Samaritans is a unique charity dedicated to reducing feelings of isolation and disconnection that can lead to suicide. Every six seconds, Samaritans answer a call for help. Their mission is to make sure there’s someone there for anyone who needs someone. They give people ways to cope and the skills to be there for others. They campaign to make suicide prevention a national and local priority.
I was approached by Samaritans to help update several volunteer focused projects in line with their new branding.
These projects included:
– a student volunteer recruitment campaign, consisting of four posters, pocket cards and a series of social media graphics optimally sized for Facebook and Twitter
– a night volunteer recruitment campaign, consisting of an A4 poster, A5 flyer, pocket card, social media graphics and a bilingual (Welsh & English) A3 poster
– a 24 page volunteer handbook outlining the charity’s vision, mission and values, history, support, roles and resources.
Samaritans extensive visual guidelines, gave me all the details I needed to ensure consistent branding with further discussions with the brand team on the direction, colour options and patterns ensured each project was correctly targeted.
