Class Technology are an innovative IT company that provides managed IT support services and technology solutions exclusively to schools and colleges throughout the UK. This ranges in scope from supporting large multi-academy trusts, to small independent prep-schools. Helping schools streamline technology delivery, utilise cloud-based technologies and lower costs by developing ICT strategies that incorporates more technology-focused roadmaps for delivering specific outcomes.
I was initially commissioned to produce a brochure for an upcoming ISBA Conference, of which they were headline sponsors. It was clear the business had expanded quickly, however branding and messaging needed further development to reflect their larger market presence. After careful consultation we agreed to look at the brochure as a starting point to explore the wider branding, whilst retaining the existing logo.
The brochure needed to be impactful and clearly communicate the company values and services provided. We started by exploring a selection of imagery showing the technology in use and behind the scenes. These were set in duotones that fit in with the companies core colours. To add depth we created a series of digital wave patterns which could be used on their own or as overlays to the photography. There were five clear sections to the 12 page brochure, so I designed a staggered layout to support this. In the centre of the brochure we created an infographic showing Class Technology’s managed services model based on old school diagrams.
The work completed on the brochure then lead to a redesign of their exhibition stand to match. The stand shown to the right is a 6x3m stand using a Flexi-system, which enables it to be reconfigured for different sized spaces. We designed several other panels for 3x3m, 5x3m and 5x2.5m configurations.
The increased visual presence of the brochure and new exhibition stand lead to an increase in tenders, which reinforced our new working relationship.
We’ve since worked together to produce many other projects including, branded merchandise, pop-up banners, adverts, social media graphics, business cards and a fully responsive website, designed and project managed by us and developed by build14me.
Since the website launch in September 2019 the site has seen a 70% increase in web traffic.
